Dade City New Honor Guard
March 20, 2025, Veterans of the American Legion Post 15, Dade City are proud to announce the formation of their new Honor Guard. The Honor Guard Team of Veterans are specifically uniformed to help provide Honors for Veterans at area Parades, special events, Dade City ceremonies, and may even help provide services for Veteran funeral ceremonies.
The all volunteer Team has been practicing and are eager to help our area Veteran community. The American Legion was Chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic organization. Focusing on service to veterans, servicemembers and communities, the Legion evolved from a group of war weary veterans of World War 1 into one of the most influential nonprofit groups in the United States. Today membership stands at nearly 2 million in more than 13,000 posts worldwide.
Any Military member currently serving or veteran who has honorably served at any time, is eligible for our membership.
