Dade City Ingenuity Lab: Yarn Monsters
This week, we are creating yarn monsters. The makerspace at Hugh Embry Library is set up with materials and activities that encourage children to design, create and explore. An introduction and tour of the Ingenuity Lab Makerspace will be provided for new participants, along with the rules that will make the experience safe and enjoyable for all. Participants will have one hour, including cleanup time, to complete their activity. Waivers for the Ingenuity Lab Makerspace MUST be signed by a parent or legal guardian for every person entering the makerspace.​

JJ Caudle, owner and primary instructor, has nearly two decades and more than 3500 hours of teaching experience. She is a member of Yoga Alliance and holds E200RYT, E500RYT, YACEP designations, and is trained and certified in teaching Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yoga and Self-Care Strategies, Teaching Seniors, and more.
Hugh Embry Toddler Storytime
Join us for stories, songs, movement and other fun activities! Children and their grownups participate in playing, reading, singing, movement and other fun activities to build a strong early literacy foundation. Space is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. For ages birth to 2 years.
Preschool Storytime - Preschooler Wednesday
Join us for reading, singing and dancing in our Preschool storytime! All Storytimes are first come first served and we will take the first 25 children with their grownup (50 people total).

Zephyrhills Chair Yoga
An accessible form of yoga in which participants use a chair to support their bodies in various modified poses. Space is limited. Please call 813-780-0064 to register. ​

Chess Club for Kids & Teens in Wesley Chapel - Intermediate/Advanced
Join Chess Master-Rated coach Rick McKnight to learn and play chess. Open to kids and teens (4th-12th grades) who want to learn and play chess. Intermediates will play and learn strategy from 3:30 to 4:30 and Beginners will have instruction from 4:30 to 5:30. Registration required.
