Master Gardeners at New River Library: Bats & Your Garden
Learn and improve your gardening skills with our Master Gardeners. Worldwide there are more than 1,400 species of bats. Bats consume insects, pollinate plants and disperse seeds. A single bat can eat up to its body weight in insects each night and reduce the need for pesticides and fertilizers. Find out more about these fascinating creatures and how they help our gardens thrive. This is a free University of Florida/IFAS Pasco Extension seminar presented by our Master Gardener Volunteer.
