WATSON CLINIC RECRUITS FOUR ADDITIONAL MEDICAL PROVIDERS
Lakeland, FL – Watson Clinic is pleased to welcome the following new additions to their team of expert medical providers.
 
Amelia Hyland, APRN is a hospital-based registered nurse practitioner who works alongside board-certified Infectious Diseases specialist Tri Pham, MD exclusively from Lakeland Regional Health at 1324 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland, and Bartow Regional Medical Center at 2200 Osprey Blvd. in Bartow. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Polk State College in Winter Haven, FL and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Registered nurse practitioner Emily Maldonado, APRN works alongside board-certified Internal Medicine specialist Stephen G. Swengros, MD from Watson Clinic Highlands at 2300 E. County Road 540A in south Lakeland. Ms. Maldonado earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Western Governor’s University in Millcreek, UT and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Mehdi Taleb, APRN is a hospital-based registered nurse practitioner works alongside board-certified Pulmonology specialist Naem Shahrour, MD exclusively from Lakeland Regional Health at 1324 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. Mr. Taleb earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL and his Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Tampa in Tampa, FL. He is a certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Registered nurse practitioner Laura Zimmerman, APRN serves new and established patients of board-certified Cardiology specialists John G. Canto, MD, MSPH, FACC, Joseph Coffman, MD, and George Ghareeb, DO from Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. Her areas of expertise include the monitoring and treatment of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, heart failure and arrhythmias. Ms. Zimmerman received her Bachelor and Master of Science Nursing degrees from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL.  She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Polk County Advanced Practice Nurses Association.
