Modern Fire Service Arrives in Wesley Chapel
~~Station 2 expands Fire Rescue’s ability to support a rapidly growing community~~
PASCO COUNTY, FL ---- Wesley Chapel has a brand-new fire station — and it’s built for the future. Pasco County Fire Rescue (PCFR) celebrates the grand opening of Station 2, officially launching a brand‑new service area in Wesley Chapel. As the community continues to grow, this station expands PCFR’s ability to respond quickly, effectively and with the full strength of a modern fire rescue team.
“Wesley Chapel deserves a fire station that matches its momentum, and Station 2 does exactly that,” says Pasco Fire Chief Ryan Guynn. “It positions our team to meet the community’s needs today while preparing us for the challenges of tomorrow.”
Located on Wesley Chapel Boulevard, the state‑of‑the‑art facility houses one engine, one rescue, one Truck Company and a Fire Investigator — giving the surrounding neighborhoods a full complement of resources right at their doorstep. The station also features an innovative hot, warm, and cold zone layout designed to reduce firefighter exposure to carcinogens, supporting PCFR’s ongoing efforts to lower firefighter cancer rates and improve long‑term health outcomes.
Our community joined PCFR leadership and the Station 2 crew for a grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting, where neighbors toured the new station, met the firefighters and learned how Station 2 strengthens PCFR’s commitment to service excellence across Pasco County.
